Terms of Service

The agreement, written to be read.

These terms are the contract between you and myPacia. They are written as plainly as a contract allows — and where something is still to be finalized during the beta, we say so instead of pretending.

Version 2026-07-21 · Effective 2026-07-21 · What changed

1.Who we are, and what you agree to

myPacia is operated by [legal entity to be registered before public launch] (“myPacia”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, or by continuing to use one, you agree to these Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data; consent to health-data processing is asked separately and is never buried inside these terms.

2.Who may use myPacia

You must be 18 years or older to create an account. You confirm this when you sign up. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its data through the standard deletion process.

3.What the service is

myPacia is a personal health organizer for people living with chronic conditions: tracking for symptoms, medications, appointments, documents, expenses and related areas, plus optional sharing with caregivers you invite. The service is currently in beta: features may change, be added, or be removed as the product matures, and occasional interruptions or defects are part of what beta means.

4.myPacia is not medical care

myPacia is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a source of medical advice. Insights, correlations and summaries describe patterns in the entries you made — nothing more. They are starting points for conversations with your clinicians. Never delay or replace professional medical care because of something myPacia shows you, and never treat a reminder as a substitute for your prescriber’s instructions. If you are in a medical emergency, contact emergency services — not an app.

5.Your account

Keep your credentials to yourself and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity that happens under your login. Provide accurate account information — the record only works if it is yours.

6.Your data stays yours

Everything you enter belongs to you. You grant us only the license needed to operate the service for you: storing your entries, computing your own summaries and insights, and showing your record to the caregivers you invited. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising — see the Privacy Policy for the complete picture. You can export your record and delete your account at any time, from Settings, without asking anyone.

7.Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, probe, or overload the service; do not access other people’s records except through a caregiver invitation they granted; do not upload content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else’s rights; do not use myPacia to store data about a person who has not agreed to it. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules — where reasonable, we will warn first.

8.Caregiver access

Caregiver sharing is invitation-only, scoped to the areas the patient selects, and revocable by the patient at any time. If you accept a caregiver invitation, you agree to use that access only for supporting the person who invited you, and these terms apply to your account like any other.

9.Plans and pricing

During the beta, myPacia is free to use and feature tiers are assigned by us on request — there are no payments in the product today. Paid plans may be introduced later; if that happens, nothing will be charged silently: pricing will be published, and payment will always be an explicit choice with notice ahead of any change that affects you.

10.Leaving, and account closure

You can delete your account yourself in Settings. Deletion starts a 30-day grace window — sign back in within it and the deletion is cancelled; after it, your data is removed from our systems. We may suspend or close accounts for material violations of these terms; suspension blocks access but does not silently destroy your data.

11.Beta service, honestly disclaimed

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We work to keep myPacia reliable and your data safe, but during beta we cannot promise uninterrupted availability or defect-free operation — which is exactly why the export function exists and is never gated. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for damages arising from the use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event — during the free beta, that is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (such as for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life or health), and nothing in these terms takes away consumer rights that your local law grants you and does not allow to be waived.

12.Changes to these terms

When we change these terms in a way that matters — liability, dispute handling, pricing, or major usage rules — we will publish a new version with a new date and ask you to explicitly accept it before continuing to use the app. For clarifications that do not change your rights, we update the page, note it in the changelog below, and notify you in the app without interrupting you. Continued silence is never treated as agreement to a material change.

13.Governing law

The law governing these terms and the venue for disputes will be fixed when our legal entity is registered: [governing law and jurisdiction to be completed before public launch]. Until then, mandatory consumer- protection law of your place of residence applies where it grants you protections that cannot be contracted away.

14.Contact

Questions about these terms: use the in-app support form (Help → Support), or the contact channels listed on this site.

Changelog — in plain words

  • 2026-07-21 — First published version, for the closed beta. Entity name and governing law are marked as pending; both will be completed before public launch, and filling them in will be treated as a material change (you will be asked to accept it).
